When do I pay the €49?

Can I choose the tenant myself?
Yes. We verify and organise the requests, but you always choose who to go ahead with.
When do I see the tenant's contact details?
No numbers scattered around: you and the tenant write to each other in the FreedHome chat. That keeps you both safe from spam and scams.
Phone and email are never exchanged, not even after the viewing. The viewing is booked from the platform.
Attachments, such as photos and documents, can be sent once the tenant has been chosen. When you both decide to go ahead, you both see each other's full name and address.
What is Risk Protection: arrears and legal?
It's a premium, optional service. If the tenant doesn't pay, we cover the rent for you. Our legal team handles unexpected events and disputes, eviction included. You activate it when you choose a tenant with a certified request, and it starts with the tenancy.

How much does it cost and when do I pay?
Searching for a home, sending a request and booking viewings cost nothing.
You book the viewing by saving your card, with no charge. You pay €199 only if, after the viewing, you and the landlord both confirm.
If the landlord backs out, we refund you. It's all included: contract, signature, registration, handover report and automatic rent payment.
What is the Zero Surprises Guarantee?
You only pay after the confirmation viewing. First you see in person that the home is as described in the listing and as you expected.
If something doesn't match, you don't confirm and you pay nothing.
How do I book a visit?
From the listing: send a request and choose one of the landlord's time slots, or propose your own.
To book, you save your card, but there's no charge, not even if you can't make it in the end.
You see the exact address once the viewing is confirmed.
If the landlord doesn't confirm in time, we let you know: you can propose other slots or look for other homes.
What is the certified enquiry and how do I get it?
You certify it once, by uploading your documents. We check identity, creditworthiness and income against the rent.
It's free and the outcome usually arrives within 24 hours, barring exceptions. It's valid for all your requests, which are highlighted.
It isn't compulsory, but you're up to 3 times more likely to find a home. The landlord doesn't see your documents.
